BERA 2010 symposium overview: Education for employment and life
There is concern at national and local level about the levels of unemployment in young people in the UK. The future of adult basic skills learning and skills provision is also a current area of focus in the UK. It has never been more important to consider the skills and education of young adults and how their education and training prepares them for life and work. The four papers in this symposium consider different aspects of the issues around education for employment and life for those aged 16 and over.
